When It Rains, It Pours.

Today was a tough day at work for Cameron. A lot of issues arose and he had to deal with them. He came home late and not long after he got home, he got a phone call that one of Cyrus's feet was swollen...product of multiple fire ant bites. All Cameron could say when he got off the phone with the boarding place was "When it rains, it pours."

Thank goodness for the love of family and the strength that the Gospel brings.

Cameron left all of his work woes aside and we had a fun time playing with Alegria. We had a nice, peaceful dinner and then Cameron gave Alegria her bath. You can see she brings out the best in him because when he decided to try on her ducky towel, he actually even let me take a picture! Cameron's the best husband, father, and everything else you could ever find! We love him so very much and we're honored to be his family. (Don't you think Cameron looks like Pharoah from Disney's "The Prince of Egypt" in his Cambodian gramah?)

We're going to go to the San Antonio Temple on Saturday. It's been planned for a few weeks now (it takes more preparation now with a little one around!), and it couldn't come at a better time. The solace and peace that going to the Temple brings is unequaled by anything on this earth! It will be a nice retreat for him and me to go through a session while my parents and youngest siblings play with Alegria on Temple grounds.

Well, now that Alegria's in bed, Cameron has to get all of his gear ready to turn in tomorrow and I've got dishes to wash. We'll watch a comedy while we work and laugh our heads off! :)

By the way, it's Cameron's father's birthday today...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Clayton!

It's also my angel-niece Lana's birthday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Lana! :)

Good night! :)
